Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace is doing her bit as the coronavirus outbreak continues.
The Big Brother star wants to make her flat available to rent for anyone who might need it during the pandemic.
She tweeted on Tuesday that despite her good intentions, she’s facing some red tape as she tries to make the property available.
Aisleyne said: ‘Crazy. Tried to offer my flat in kings cross for anyone with immediate and desperate housing needs… the process takes over 3 weeks just to clear my reference… so much legislation to get through while people are finding themselves homeless.’
The TV personality found fame on Big Brother in 2006.
Other celebrities have been trying to encourage others to look out for each other as the outbreak continues, including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Gisele Bundchen and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Meanwhile actor Idris Elba, who has tested positive for the virus, shared an update with his fans.
He said he’s ‘feeling ok’ and while he’s still not showing any symptoms, he’s checking his temperature twice a day.
‘I certainly felt at the end of the day…that was the right thing to do, to share what were going through, because we ain’t the only ones,’ he said on Twitter.
‘Some of you probably watching right now are going through the same thing, testing positive and quarantined at home hoping for the best.’
