Liam Gallagher has admitted to teasing an Oasis reunion, just to make his brother Noel look bad.
The Gallagher brothers, of course, found worldwide fame as part of the band, which churned out generation-defining hits like Wonderwall and Slide Away.
Rumours have not stopped, however, about the warring siblings getting the band back together – but they haven’t been successful as of yet.
Appearing tonight on Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer, Liam told the former footballing star that he is raring to go, but it just depends on Noel.
Liam admitted: ‘I’m ready to go me, man, love is in the air.’
Maya Jama then questioned Liam over a tweet he sent out, asking his brother to reunite the band for a special one-off performance for the NHS.
‘Yeah, I know he’s not going to do it,’ Liam revealed. ‘I just do it make him look f*cking bad.
‘But I’ll do it. I think it’s time to get off the naughty step now, man, stop sulking.’
The Wonderwall hitmaker continued: ‘I don’t know how long it would last and all that, you’d have to ask him, my bags are packed and ready to go.
‘I don’t know what’s going on in his world.’
Liam – who is now embarking on a solo career – previously said that an Oasis reunion was ultimately inevitable, because his brother is ‘greedy.’
Well, that’s one way to put it, we suppose.
Oasis formed in 1991, before splitting for good in 2009. In that time, they released seven studio albums, including (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?
