Liverpool could reportedly celebrate their long-awaited Premier League title win in Everton’s car park as the Goodison Park dressing room may not fall in line with social distancing rules.
If second-placed side Manchester City lose to Arsenal next Wednesday, Liverpool could wrap up the title with a win against their bitter rivals the following weekend.
Usually after winning the league, players will go back to the dressing room and celebrate their victory, however, government guidelines on social distancing may make this impossible for the Reds.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool could be forced to continue their title party on a temporary structure in a car park behind the Park End stand.
Other older stadiums such as Old Trafford may also see contingency measures put in place for dressing rooms to ensure players can be kept two metres apart.
Liverpool looked in tip-top shape for the resumption of the league in their 6-0 friendly win against Blackburn Rovers on Thursday.
Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino and Naby Keita were amongst the scorers against the Championship side at Anfield.
After following the lead of the German Bundesliga, Premier League clubs are also set to be allowed five substitutes in order to help teams overcome any fitness issues.
