RuPaul’s Drag Race star Baga Chipz has become the latest star to be eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef as week two kicks off in the kitchen.
The 30-year-old queen failed to impress John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the first round, having to hand in her apron after being beaten by Karen Gibson, Dom Littlewood, Phil Daniels and Sam Quek.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about the elimination, Baga admitted: ‘I’m not gonna lie – I’m a lazy cow, when it comes to domestic [work].
‘I’m not a domestic goddess – I’m not Nigella and I’m no Fanny Craddock, I’m a performer.’
‘I’m like the Queen Mother, I like to be rolled out on stage and then that’s me done. You know what I mean?,’ she laughed.
‘When it comes to the cameras, the lighting, the sound, hair and makeup and all that. I like to have all that done.’
But seeing as Celebrity MasterChef was shot before coronavirus lockdown left us all stuck indoors for weeks, has she had a change of tune?
Nahhhh – in fact her namesake is now more relevant than ever.
‘Lockdown’s been a nightmare because I like to eat out, most nights in restaurants and stuff,’ she declared. ‘So it’s just been takeaways, takeaways, takeaways!’
A real queen after our own heart!
Four now remain on the show, with two more getting the chop before this week is out – but who will make it through?
Celebrity MasterChef airs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9pm on BBC One.
