Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) decided enough was enough in Coronation Street tonight (December 16), as she reported Gary Windass (Mikey North) to the police.
With Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) in a critical condition after he was brutally attacked, Sarah decided to do the right thing.
The young woman sat her husband’s bedside — hoping and praying that he would make a full recovery.
Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) was sceptical of her ‘grieving widow’ routine, but eventually he came to believe that she wasn’t responsible for what transpired.
Sarah believed that Gary was responsible, and her interest was piqued when she discovered that Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) had lied to the police about where her beau was on the night in question.
With Adam having taken a turn in the hospital, emotions were running high, and Sarah ultimately made a huge decision.
Yes, after reminiscing about a particular moment in time when Adam asked her if she wanted to be right, or if she wanted to be happy, she decided on the latter.
Therefore, she called Crimestoppers, and anonymously reported the location of a body, and confirmed the identity of the person who put it there!
It’s safe to assume the body she is referring to is Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood), but will Gary finally pay for his crimes?
Or will he figure out what Sarah is up to and put a stop to her before it’s too late?
Coronation Street continues Friday December 18 at 7:30pm on ITV.
