Ice-T has given fans a positive update on his friend, Dr. Dre.
Dr. Dre was admitted to the intensive care unit of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm on Jan. 4.
“Just talked to the homie @drdre. He’s doing good and hopefully he’ll be home soon,” wrote the “Law and Order SVU” star in an Instagram post on Monday, Jan. 11.
“But let’s keep him in our prayers for a full recovery,” he added.
According to a report from TMZ, doctors have been doing tests in order to determine what caused the bleeding.
The 55-year-old music mogul said in a statement: “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes.
“I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
“He’s resting comfortably,” an attorney for the star told Billboard via email.
The likes of Missy Elliott and Ice Cube were among celebrities taking to Twitter to send Dr. Dre well-wishes.
