Cardi B has offered fans some intriguing advice for Valentine’s Day.
The WAP hitmaker has been chatting to fans on Twitter about the upcoming holiday, and has some suggestions about what they should be getting their significant others.
The star, who’s back with her husband, Migos star Offset, has kept it traditional, saying that women should never spend more than men on a gift.
‘Yes ! Men do deserve to get gift as well for Valentine’s Day,but the gift have to be less expensive then the girls gift,’ she asserted.
Giving an example, she added: ‘Soo if he buys you flowers you buy him grass.’
We’re a little lost, but okurr queen.
The 28-year-old has been focused on treating herself recently, after splashing the cash on a rare Birkin bag.
Cardi proudly unveiled her pretty new splurge in an Instagram video, showing off the rare Birkin Cargo which retails for $79,995 (£57,800) and is sold out in many places.
Detailing her efforts in getting her hands on the coveted luxury piece, the rapper explained: ‘You know I wanted this f***ing Birkin so bag. Y’all don’t understand I called every f***ing Hermes store and it just came out this year.
‘Was looking for it, f***ing finally found it, had to pay triple but I just love it. I know it’s a little plain for y’all right but I just thought it was so amazing. She’s so pretty, I can’t wait to f***ing wear it.’
Meanwhile, she’s smashing it on the music front, releasing her new song Up after the success of WAP.
Speaking to Zane Lowe about her new hit, Cardi said: ‘My last song was very sexual, very sexual. So I always want my next songs to be different than the one before. If a topic on one of my songs is money, the other topic I want it to be about something else.
‘When I started rapping, when I first put music out, like my mixtape, it was all… This might sound crazy, but I got really inspired of Drill Chicago music. I was young, and I liked that and everything, so my mixtape was very all about gangster violence. If it’s up, then it’s stuck. That’s where I wanted to take it with this record.’
