Troubled Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) in Coronation Street is currently facing time in prison following admitting he was part of a crime job that led to a man dying thirty years ago.
To make matters worse for Johnny, he was recently told his eyesight failing is part of an MS relapse, and soon when he thinks things are as bad as they get, there’s even more trouble on the way for Johnny in the form of a suicide horror.
When fellow prisoner Joe, asks him for a game of pool, Johnny declines, too wrapped up in his own problems, leaving Joe disappointed.
When Johnny finds out from Gary (Mikey North) that Joe took an overdose in his cell he’s horrified, realising that Joe’s request for a game of pool was actually a cry for help.
When Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) discovers what happened she is worried sick, aware that Joe’s overdose will bring back dark thoughts of Aidan (Shayne Ward).
With Johnny’s eyesight failing and guilt increasing over Joe, just how bad will things get for him over the next few weeks?
