Manchester United have made an improved offer for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The Premier League club saw an initial offer of £67m plus add-ons worth £8m rejected by the Bundesliga giants.
Dortmund are understood to be asking for £86m with a significant portion of that fee to be paid up front.
Sky Sports now report United have returned with a restructured offer for the England international that is believed to be worth more than £75m, with more of that fee to be paid up front with the rest in ‘achievable add-ons’.
Reports in England and from Germany’s Ruhr Nachrichten also add Dortmund are considering United’s latest offer with the latter claiming there is ‘movement’ in the deal with a replacement for Sancho at the Westfalenstadion now being seriously discussed.
Sancho is also believed to have already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Scoring 50 goals in 137 appearances, Sancho has established himself as one of Borussia Dortmund’s most important players since leaving Manchester City in 2017, while has has also become a regular for England.
United failed in their bid to bring him to Manchester but hope to finally get their man this summer – with Sir Alex Ferguson endorsing the move.
The former Red Devils boss told SportBild: ‘I think a lot of Jadon Sancho. With his one-on-one duels, as an assister and scorer, he is extremely dangerous.
‘He has so much potential, he helps the team. That’s why he’ll be valuable to England over the course of the tournament.’
