The cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars have posed for a special photoshoot at Stonewall in New York, helping kick off Pride weekend in New York.

The shoot saw fan favourites Serena ChaCha, Trinity K. Bonet, Pandora Boxx, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Scarlet Envy, Jiggly Caliente, A’keria Davenport, Ra’Jah O’Hara, Eureka!, Jan, Kylie Sonique Love and Yara Sofia all appear in solidarity.

Stonewall has been a hugely significant site for members of the LGBT+ plus community across the world since the late 60s, and stars of the latest season of the spin-off show got together for a special event honouring the site.

Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village was raided by police on the morning of June 28, 1969, sparking riots that triggered the rise of LGBT rights movement across the world.

Mass protests erupted with people rallying against treatment of the gay community, demanding liberation and LGBT rights.

The drag queens were there to mark the celebrations as part of Pride month, which takes place every June to commemorate the people involved in the Stonewall riots and celebrate LGBT+ communities everywhere.

They weren’t the only stars in attendance, either. Madonna had an incredible costume for a surprise performance to begin Pride weekend in New York yesterday.

The sixth season of the Drag Race spin-off All Stars has seen RuPaul welcome back several former stars of the reality competition, all hoping to take home the crown after missing out on their respective seasons.

Just two episodes in, All Stars has pulled out the big guns with its challenges, having the competitors dress for a ball that saw a fan favourite fall at the final hurdle – but has she really gone for good?

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 is available to watch on Netflix and WOW Presents Plus.
