Love Island 2021: Chuggs Wallace attempts to win over newcomer Rachel Finni as he risks being dumped

FIRST LOOK: The boys get grafting as Rachel prepares to decide their fate...

Tonight’s episode of Love Island will see Chuggs Wallis get his graft on while he attempts to get to know newcomer Rachel Finni better, as he risks being dumped from the villa.

At the end of Friday night’s instalment of the ITV2 series, we witnessed the first recoupling of the series, with the girls getting to choose which boy to couple up with.

However, both Chuggs and fellow islander Brad McClelland failed to be picked during the recoupling, leaving them both single.

It is now up to Rachel, who made her entrance at the conclusion of the episode, to decide who to save from being eliminated by coupling up with them.

And while the stakes are high in tonight’s show between both boys, it seems Chuggs might just be after her more.

After pulling Rachel for a chat shortly after she enters the villa, he says to her: ‘You’re super confident – I like it. You’re feisty!’

‘I am,’ she responds. ‘Why not be confident? What is the worst that can happen?’

However, she does find herself questioning whether he’s being sincere or not.

‘I’m just going to put it out there,’ she quips. ‘Do you find me attractive or are you only grafting to keep yourself safe?’

The following day, Chuggs continues to win over Rachel to the best of his ability, and the two definitely seem to be off to a good start.

‘You seem like you’ve settled in well,’ Chuggs tells Rachel. ‘You’ve got a really nice calm demeanour about you.’

Rachel replies: ‘There is no person that I don’t get along with. I knew I was going to come in here and get along with everyone.’

Later speaking in the beach hut, Rachel admits she feels as if she hasn’t ‘scratched the surface’ yet, and wants to ‘get to know Chuggs’.

While Chuggs reckons he can ‘see myself getting on with her [Rachel] so well’.

‘She’s got this energetic strike in her,’ he adds. ‘She hits you with this electricity.’

However, there’s some pretty tough competition when Brad comes into the picture, so there’s no doubt that it will not be an easy decision for Rachel.

She says before making her big decision: ‘This has not been easy in the slightest. I think you’re both amazing guys in every single way. I can’t fault either of you for absolutely anything.’

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
