Belgravia aired its fourth episode tonight which saw the Trenchard family’s staff betray them in order to sell their secrets to the scheming John Bellasis.
While John’s desperate mission to find more information about Charles Pope continued, his mistress Susan Trenchard made a perhaps miraculous discovery that could land her in serious trouble.
Elsewhere, Lady Maria’s lust for Charles waged on and it looks set to cause an almighty fallout between her and her mother.
It was a jam-packed episode and we’ve got a number of questions we need answering when next Sunday’s chapter comes along.
How long will it take for the Trenchards to realise their servants are spying on them?
Turton and Ellis were quick to betray their employers in tonight’s episode when John offered them money to source information on Charles.
While Ellis kept a watchful eye on her mistress Anne, Turton was seen striking up a deal which will see him search through old letters for any mention of the mysterious character.
But just how long will it take before these two get caught? Anne has already learnt that Ellis has been feigning missing items to pry at Lady Brockenhurst’s, so surely it’s only a matter of time?
Is Susan Trenchard pregnant with John Bellasis’ baby?
Susan discovered that her period is a number of days late, meaning there’s a very strong chance that she’s pregnant.
This should be joyous news seeing as she and her husband Oliver believed they were unable to conceive, but of course, she’s been having an affair with John.
Is Susan pregnant and is the father John?
Will Lady Maria defy her mother and pursue an affair with Charles Pope?
It’s undeniable that sparks are flying between Lady Maria and Charles and it looks like a romance between the pair is inevitable.
There’s a few things standing in their way though; Maria’s fiance John (who’s having an affair with Susan), and Maria’s mother Lady Templemore.
Maria and her mother came to blows in tonight’s episode when the youngster ruled out marrying John, causing Lady Templemore to hit out and issue a stark warning that she mustn’t defy her.
But the heart wants what the heart wants, right?
When will Anne and James come clean and tell Susan and Oliver the truth about Charles Pope’s relation?
Tensions are brewing in the Trenchard household, with Oliver growing more and more frustrated by his parents’ relationship with Charles.
Still in the dark about what’s going on, the son’s anger is continuing to effervesce as he believes that the family is investing too much of their time and money into this random businessman.
Little does Oliver actually know that they’re just helping out his nephew.
Meanwhile, Anne accidentally let loose to Susan that Charles has history with the family, prompting her to forward this information to her side-piece John.
Surely we’re not far off Anne and James shelling out the truth to the rest of the family?
Belgravia continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
