The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will be reuniting for a special 30th anniversary TV event.
Will Smith and his co-stars are set to film the unscripted special next month and fans will get to watch the fun go down as soon as Thanksgiving!
According to Deadline, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Alfonso Ribeiro, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will have signed up to tape the special on September 10.
Which just happens to be exactly 30 years to the date that the show premiered on NBC!
The gang are expected to be looking back at the series as they discuss working together and reflect on the show’s cultural impact.
Deadline reports it will be a night of music, dancing and surprise guests.
The special, which will be produced by Westbrook Media, and will be exclusively available on HBO Max around Thanksgiving.
No word yet on whether the show will air on other networks for fans outside the US.
The news comes after the cast had a virtual reunion on Will Smith’s Snapchat series earlier this year.
And it follows the exciting news that the series is getting rebooted as a gritty drama, which should be interesting.
This is the third high-profile reunion of an NBC series announced by HBO Max, following the Friends reunion, which was supposed to be filmed back in May.
And it was just announced that the original cast of The West Wing is coming together for a special charity event.
