Will justice be served? (Picture: BBC)

Katy Lewis’ (Simone Lahbib) fate is set to be revealed in EastEnders next week, as the court case arrives.

But will justice be served?

That remains unknown, but what we can tell you is that the abuser is not intent on going down without a fight.

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) spends much of next week writing his victim impact statement.

He struggles, but Nancy (Maddy Hill) offers him some words of encouragement, which ultimately results in him finishing it.

Katy, however, lurks outside the Vic, and corners Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) in the hopes of manipulating her into providing her with a character reference.

Frankie tells Shirley (Linda Henry) that she declined Katy’s request, but it’s apparent that the young woman is conflicted.

Mick, meanwhile, knows that he must read his victim impact statement aloud in court himself.

Next Friday’s edition of the BBC One soap (May 21) will see the day of the court case arrive.

The Carters get ready for a big day, but the question is: will Katy be found guilty?

Will Mick finally get his justice?

One to watch: Friday May 21 at 8:35pm on BBC One.
